On Tuesday, February 9, 2010, the 2nd Annual Coaches vs Cancer basketball games will be played at the Gunter High School Events Center, pitting the Tigers and Lady Tigers against Howe.

Both schools have been raising funds for this event through tee shirt sales and other activities.

Opportunities will be made available for fans to take part in this process through donations and other means. One hundred percent of all money raised will be donated to the "V" foundation to fight this dreaded disease.

Last year nearly $1,000.00 was collected for this cause.

Coaches will be wearing sneakers with their normal game attire to raise awareness about cancer and the important role that nutrition and physical activity play in reducing the risk of getting this disease.
