Van Alstyne police made one arrest after serving a search warrant last Friday in the 600 block of East Marshall.
During the search, officers found cocaine, marijuana, illegal prescription medications, a switchblade knife and other drug-related items.
Noah Gladstone, 24, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, a state jail felony; possession of a dangerous drug and possession of a prohibited weapon, both Class A misdemeanors; possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor.
A male family member was home when the warrant was served, but he was not charged with an offense.

Also during the last week, Van Alstyne police:
Made a felony arrest after a traffic stop on northbound U.S. 75 near Farmington Road.
Ricky McAdams, 52, of Leonard was charged with a third offense of driving while intoxicated, a state jail felony, and possession of a dangerous drug, a Class A misdemeanor.
Arrested Michael Patterson, 26, of McKinney after a traffic stop and charged him with driving with a suspended license, a Class B misdemeanor.
Arrested a 45-year-old man from Racine, Wisc., and charged him with a first offense of DWI, a Class B misdemeanor.
Arrested a 56-year-old Anna man and charged him with a first offense of DWI, a Class B misdemeanor.
Arrested a 22-year-old Dallas woman and charged her with a first offense of DWI, a Class B misdemeanor.
Responded to 15 incidents.
Made eight warrant arrests.
Received 338 calls for service.
