VAN ALSTYNE -- The Van Alstyne City Council meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Van Alstyne Community Center, 262 N. Preston. The meeting is open to the public.

Items shown on the agenda on which votes may be taken include:

* election details;

* an ordinance authorizing the fire department to charge for costs of certain services within the response area;

* renovation of the Community Center;

* executive session for consultation with the city attorney regarding ambulance services, city police, and property deliberation;

* votes, if any, on items discussed during executive session;

* approval of minutes of previous meetings.

There will also be updates from the city manager and the mayor, plus a time for the public to address the council.
